Where to eat in Paros: a family’s recommendations
Seaside tavernas, harbour ouzeries and village kitchens. How to eat like a local — and which tables to book ahead.

Food on Paros is honest and seasonal: fresh fish grilled simply, tomatoes that taste of sunshine, local cheeses like graviera and myzithra, and wines from the island’s own vineyards. Before your arrival we send every guest our up-to-date list of favourite tables — it changes each season, so we keep it personal rather than printed.
Parikia
Three minutes from your door, Parikia has everything from traditional tavernas tucked into the old town to sunset cocktail bars along the seafront. It is the easiest place for a relaxed dinner without needing to drive far.
Naoussa
The island’s most glamorous dining scene surrounds Naoussa’s little fishing harbour, where octopus hangs drying in the sun outside the ouzeries. Book ahead in July and August.
The villages
In Lefkes, Marpissa and Prodromos you will find family-run kitchens serving slow-cooked dishes such as revithada (baked chickpeas) and goat in red sauce. Lunch in a village square is one of the island’s great pleasures.
